FireStop is a division of G&M Services and is an FM4991 approved firestop contractor. By combining the concrete coring, drilling, and sawing services of G&M with the firestop installation services of FireStop, we are able to offer a one-stop-shop to our clients, and complete both the cutting and firestop application process more efficiently.
Proper installation of firestop products is critical to ensuring they work properly in the event of a fire or other emergency. Our staff members have more than 25 years of experience and constantly update their training on both firestop installation and safe work practices. Our average employee has been with FireStop for over 5 years. We take pride in our ability to respond to the needs of the job site as they arise and meet our clients’ requirements within the agreed upon timeline.
G&M Services installers are certified with the industry’s major firestop product manufacturers. As part our firestop service, we are able to assess abnormal field conditions and, with the manufacturer’s technical support assistance, provide engineering judgments in a timely fashion to comply with contract specifications.
Our Field Mechanics undergo ongoing training, including mandatory monthly safety meetings, weekly Toolbox Talks where safety and equipment information is shared, and trainings on safe work standards and safety best practices.
